Colorado Creativity (along with the other TalentMatchers Associates) locally recruits, screens, and produces portfolios for those interested in the opportunities the AEI has to offer.  TalentMatchers then posts these portfolios on its highly secure Internet server where they can be sorted and browsed by a select and thoroughly screened group of the top and most reputable casting decision makers in the industry.  These include top studios, directors, distributors, and magazines that you may have heard of but whose names we're contractually prohibited from publishing.  TalentMatchers then acts as the agent in negotiations between the listed talent and the various casting decision makers who show interest for their widely varied projects.

  • Continue to Live In Colorado (or anywhere you want)

    It used to be that if you wanted to take serious advantage of the significant earning opportunities in the AEI you had to travel to Los Angeles or New York, knock on a lot of doors, and hope that you found work.  The recent wide availability of high speed Internet along with inexpensive digital photographic and video equipment has changed this.

    With TalentMatchers it's no longer necessary to relocate to work in the AEI as a model or performer.  Colorado Creativity puts your portfolio together locally and TalentMatchers confidentially promotes you locally and nationally.  You can remain where you are and still get significantly more exposure than you ever could knocking on doors or responding to ads.   When you begin to get work offers, you can choose which to accept based on whatever factors you choose.  While much of the highest paying work will involve travel (all-expenses-paid) to sometimes exotic and exciting places, you can live where ever you want.  In addition, more and more producers and directors are choosing to do shoots right here in Colorado due to the increase in locally available talent.
     

  • The "Try-Before-You-Buy" Concept

    Traditionally new entry-level talent has gone right to work, sometimes on impulse and before fully understanding all the implications of working in the AEI.   In some cases the new models and performers have soon had second thoughts and come to regret their decision and wish they had had the opportunity to sample what it was all about and think about it for a time before committing.  Neither Colorado Creativity or TalentMatchers requires a firm upfront commitment.  You are free to back-out anytime during the production of your portfolio and even after it is posted on the secure TalentMatchers web site.   You only commit after you perform your first paid shoot.

    While your portfolio is posted, the only people who will see it are TalentMatchers thoroughly screened customers who must all have signed confidentially and no-copy agreements.  In fact, they are the only ones who will ever see it since our client's portfolios are never made public unless you agree to it.  Should you decide to back-out after your portfolio is posted you can rest assured that no will ever see it anytime in the future without your permission.   We call this the "Try-Before-You-Buy" concept.
     

  • No Agency Fees or Long Term Contracts

    Some industry talent agencies will charge hundreds or thousands of dollars to help you put together a portfolio and to list you.  If they don't find you work, you've wasted your money.

    Neither Colorado Creativity nor TalentMatchers charges you a fee.   If we don't find you work, you've haven't paid us anything.

    In addition, many agencies require a contract for up to a year or more preventing you from seeking industry employment elsewhere even if they aren't finding work for you.  TalentMatchers does ask for a 3 month exclusive to find industry employment for you but after that you're free to look elsewhere even if you choose to continue to be listed with them, which most do.  (Note that some studios may require that you sign an exclusive contract with them but this is usually a good thing as you'll then likely be earning regular good money.)

  • Experience In Front of the Camera.

    Modeling and/or performing for the first time in front of cameras with studio lights, audio equipment, staff, and other distractions present can be quite intimidating to some.  During the course of shooting your portfolio we'll take things slowly if necessary in our warn and friendly studio environment till you become accustomed to the distractions and gain confidence.  We also provide coaching and training as necessary in a relaxed, and supportive manner.  This creates a better portfolio and makes you more employable.

In summary, the benefits to you are many.  You have much to gain by giving this a try and little or nothing to lose.

How The Industry Benefits

Since the AEI's inception, a major and expensive headache for directors and producers of movies/videos involved entry-level NEW talent.  New talent sells extremely well and is one of the mainstays of the industry but can cause a lot of up-front problems for directors on the set.

Since directors have traditionally had a limited supply of new talent readily available they've had to take what they could get at the time they were ready to shoot a project.  And performers who have never modeled or acted in sexually explicit ways in front of a camera before frequently can cause all kinds of problems.  The lights, camera and audio equipment, and behind the scenes staff can be very intimidating to new performers.  New talent can unexpectedly freeze up or, when actually called upon to do something they've previously agreed to before the shoot, change their mind and refuse to do it at the last minute with the cameras rolling.  This can be extremely expensive what with everyone from other performers, makeup artists, camera operators, audio technicians, etc, on the payroll.   While most new performers will get through their initial problems within a few shoot sessions, these early shoots can cause a lot of money to go out the window.  Directors generally want to be creating their art, not training new talent.

TalentMatchers along with its associates provides the solution.  When casting decision makers browse the secure online talent database and view the candidate's portfolios, they see our clients actually doing the types of things they are looking for and can thus be sure that they're getting someone who can and will perform the way they want.  They also know for a fact that the candidate has made it though the first few potentially awkward shoots.    Finally, since everyone who's posted on the TalentMatchers database is required to have first been medically tested for STD's, employers can be sure the talent is safe and ready for others to work with on the set.

Simply put, we provide the industry with a wide variety of immediately available and fully screened and tested new talent.  And, by keeping our overhead low, we do so at a fraction of the cost that they can recruit and test new talent for themselves.  They're more than willing to pay us a good fee for this service.
