In overview, our program makes it possible for TalentMatchers to market you locally and nationally to studio casting directors who will make offers to retain you.  Colorado Creativity locally creates your portfolio which is necessary to effectively market you to distant potential employers.  TalentMatchers then confidentially presents you to select industry studios and acts as your agent.  Everything in the process from your application, to your portfolio shoots, to you TalentMatchers listing remains completely confidential and you're free to drop-out at any time.

The normal sequence of events on the way to you earning a good income in the field of Adult Entertainment involves Applying, a Preliminary Meeting, signing Model Release and Agency Agreements, the preparation of your free portfolio (which can take several weeks and usually involves at least 2 studio sessions) concurrent with medical screening, and finally the posting of your Portfolio on the TalentMatchers secure internet database so casting decision makers will see you and can make job offers.  See the following for the details.

Apply

The application process is easy and confidential.  If you meet our minimum qualifications, simply fill out and submit the online application form and email us a few photos.  (Click the Application tab for complete details.)  We'll get back to you via email or phone typically within 1 to 2 business days after receiving your application.   Applying is risk free.  You're free to back-out anytime.

The Preliminary Meeting

After we accept your application, we'll schedule a preliminary meeting and initial studio shoot.  We generally like to meet in a quiet restaurant or coffee shop in the Denver/Boulder area near our studio since meeting in a public place as we get to know each other can be more comfortable for some applicants.

At the meeting, which usually takes about an hour, you'll have the opportunity to have your questions answered and we'll decide if it is mutually agreeable to move on the the next steps.

The Model Release and Agency Agreements

If at the meeting we agree to proceed, you'll review and sign our standard Model Release and Agency Agreements.  The agreements spells out in writing the important things you've read on this web site and, if you've thoroughly read all the web site pages here, there will be no surprises.    Signing the agreements is risk free as they allow you to back-out at any time.

Your Portfolio

Your portfolio, when edited and finalized, will contain still photographs, several video clips totaling about 6 to 8 minutes in length, and some other information about you that we'll accumulate as we go along such as your modeling/performing preferences. 

Some of the portfolio will be devoted to specific types of staged scenes required by TalentMatchers and some will be more creative, spontaneous, and freeform as determined by us with your input.  The goal is to produce a portfolio which both proves to casting decision makers that you can and will perform the minimum required activities and in addition shows and brings out your natural talent and abilities. 

During your portfolio shoots you must be willing and able to perform only the various common forms of heterosexual sexual intercourse and oral sex.  More adventurous forms of sex are not required.

It typically takes 2 shoot sessions to capture the material needed for your portfolio.  At the initial session we shoot still photos, do a short on camera "get to know you"  video interview, and capture some preliminary action scenes.  During the second session we primarily set up and shoot more detailed action shots.  The first session usually takes about 2 hours and is typically scheduled immediately after your initial meeting.  The second session usually takes about 3 hours.  Occasionally a third shoot will be desirable particularly if you're interested in some specialized scenes.

Since some applicants have regular week day jobs, we try to be flexible in scheduling portfolio shoots and can sometimes schedule them for work week evenings and/or weekends if necessary.  Portfolio shoots take place at our comfortable studio located between Denver and Boulder.  We endeavor to make your shoot sessions a fun yet productive experience.

Your are not paid for your portfolio work since we at Colorado Creativity don't earn anything from working with you till you start earning money from your TalentMatchers listing.   On the other hand, and unlike some recruiting agencies, we don't charge you for your portfolio.  It typically takes us a week or two from the time of your final portfolio shoot to get you listed with TalentMatchers.

Medical Screening

Colorado Creativity adheres to the standard industry medical screening procedures which have made working in the Adult Entertainment field as safe as working anywhere else.  This is accomplished through regular medical screenings for Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) for all those who perform on the set in a manner through which such diseases can be transmitted.  The concept of how this works is quite simple:  You don't engage in medically risky behavior with anyone who has not been recently tested.  Likewise, you must be regularly tested when you're regularly working.

Before your portfolio is listed on TalentMatchers you'll be required to get tested for STDs.  Since you have the ability to back out before earning any money for TalentMatchers, your STD test will be at your expense (which is typically not expensive and at a location of your choosing).  This is your only out-of-pocket expense to get going at TalentMatchers.

Posting Your Portfolio

After we finalize your portfolio it will be uploaded to TalentMatchers for their approval.  It will then be posted on their secure online database where casting decision makers will confidentially view it along with other TalentMatchers clients.   Should one show interest in you for one of their projects, TalentMatchers will contact you with the specifics of their offer and, if you're interested and available, negotiate the details for you.  You are never required to accept offers but of course if you're not working, you're not earning money.

Once a client's portfolio is posted they will typically work an average of a couple of days a month with some periods being busier than others.  Most jobs are of short duration for those new to the industry and may take anywhere from a few hours for a still photo shoot to a day or two for a short theme video.  Travel is frequently involved (all expense paid) but local work is also available.   Some assignments will be one time jobs and others will be repeat work for those who are pleased with the previous work you've done for them.

TalentMatchers requires a 3 month exclusive from the time your portfolio is posted which you'll agree to in their standard Agency Agreement.  This means that during this period you can't accept work in the Adult Entertainments Industry through anyone else.   After 3 months, and whether you've found work through TalentMatchers or not, the exclusive expires freeing you to obtain industry work any way you like.  You may, however, continue to be listed in the TalentMatchers database if you want and most clients do.  Anyone who hasn't been offered and/or accepted work for 6 consecutive months is usually moved to inactive status and offers are no longer made.  However if you are working, at least once in a while, you can stay active in the database indefinitely.  TalentMatchers clients can also ask to be placed on inactive status and can later ask to return to active status.

As per the TalentMatchers Agency Agreements with you, you may request to have your portfolio removed from the database at any time and for any reason.

Confidentially

Some of the things which differentiates us from others who provide talent to the the adult business are our strict confidentially policies combined with your ability to drop-out at any time.  These protect you at every step of the process of getting to a good income.  Everything from your application, through your portfolio shoots, to your TalentMatchers listing is  legally guaranteed as confidential in writing in your model release and agency agreements.  You can thus be 100% certain that everything done at meetings and in the studio is completely confidential and will be seen by and discussed with no one unless and until you decide otherwise.

Getting Started Risk Free With No Commitment

Working on your portfolio doesn't commit you to anything and this is also spelled out in the model release and agency agreements.  About 50% of Colorado Creativity clients who do portfolio shoots decide not to move on to a TalentMasters listing having decided by actually trying that this work isn't for them.  On the other hand 50% of clients go on to earn us good commissions and make good money for themselves.  In our experience it's impossible to tell in advance which direction any given client will go.  Some who were initially hesitant go on to love the work and some who thought they'd have no problem with it decide that it's not for them.  The only way to know for sure is to give it a try.  This makes our program ideal for those who have thought about the adult industry but have been hesitant to give it a try.  There is noting to lose and by giving our program a try and you'll determine whether the adult industry is right for you.
